Pyrex Oranges Juice Carafe

Hello Friends! 

I love carafes, I'm obsessed with them. I wrote an earlier post showing off my Pyrex coffee carafes, both of which are for sale on my Etsy store (you can see them here and here). Well as it happens I've found a Pyrex carafe that holds cold beverages. 


It was purchased from a local thrift store at a super reasonable price, meaning I could not say 'no'. The only thing that's missing is the matching lid, which was made of a thick plastic material, with a metal knob on top, and brightly coloured to match the vibrant pattern of the carafe. 


The juice carafes came in different sizes, patterns and mouth openings. I love that the writing on the side of the carafe has stayed intact reading, "For cold liquids only" and not to use metal stirrers. 


I found a couple of other Pyrex cold beverage carafes on Etsy that I love. One of them being and adorable apple themed carafe. The minty green colour of the pattern and the lid make me smile, as I am a sucker for all things mint green. I also really like the Butterfly Gold patterned carafe. It would match my Butterfly Gold mixing bowls so well, and the Early American carafe would match my Pyrex set of the same name. So much Pyrex, so little time. 


For now I'll settle on my carafe and make some freshly squeezed orange juice.
