Wedding Wednesday: ModCloth Wedding Collection

Wednesday, 21 May 2014

Hello Friends!

It's Wednesday again, and that means another instalment of 'Wedding Wednesday'.

I, like a lot of other bloggers love ModCloth. The story of a one-woman show that grows into an empire is truly inspiring. As of late they've been touting their wedding collection, so when I checked it out, I was very pleasantly surprised.

The collection ranges from casual wedding to luxe with a laid-back feel. I put together a few outfits I would love to wear on the big day:

This look, to me is traditional with a twist. There's a traditional white gown, which has some amazing embroidery details. I paired it with wedge peep toed shoes that have a similar flower, and a headband that is perfectly understated, which won't take away from the gown.

The second look I put together would be for the more unique, out of the box bride. The polka-hearted dress with the velvety sash is absolutely stunning. Worn with a pair of deep blue mod-styled wedges and colourful earrings, this ensemble would look cheerful even during the rainiest of wedding days.
The last ensemble I put together is really for the glam bride. All about sparkle, this bride would look amazing in the long peach coloured gown. I love how the sparkles are in a starburst pattern. Not stopping at the dress, the bride would carry through the sparkle to her heels and to her clutch. This bride is a true showstopper, better have champagne on the menu!
Has anyone else seen the collection from ModCloth? What are your favourites?
