Big news! My mister and I are moving. As such, I get to pick out some new accessories for our new home.
For the last few months I've been searching for new vintage-y retro accents to line my new home. One major part of the home is lighting, in our apartment we were not able to change any of the ceiling lights as they came with fans, but now we have so many more options.

I love the look of this hanging lamp with the teak and gold details. Lovely!

The lucite body of this hanging lamp with the plastic casing would make an amazing addition to any mid-century home.
I've also looked at getting new table lamps. I love the look of ceramic lamps with the mix of wood and plaster. When the lamps are paired with tiered fibreglass shades they really add a great retro feel. The tall slender look of the green and blue lamp and the curves of this lamp are to die for!
Either way I'm really excited about decorating for my new home - I know I'll want to share with all my wonderful readers.
